The Peak Atlas IT Network Cable Analyzer just got smarter, much smarter. Atlas IT has always been a fabulous tool for identifying and analyzing RJ45-based network cables, plugs and racks. Now this instrument has a new feature in the software that allows identifying the type of cable even when it has problems. And you can even identify the differences between the cable that is having problems with the correct cable.
Simply connect one end of the cable to Atlas IT and the other end to Atlas IT Terminator and press the test button. In seconds, Atlas IT will analyze the complete configuration of connections from both ends. And it instantly identifies the cable type (based on the wiring diagram) and presents the information in an easy-to-read form on the display.

Atlas IT has a cable library, enabling smarter identification cable configuration, such as: Straight Cable, Cross Cable, Token Ring Cable, Ethernet Splitters and many more.
If any problem is detected in the cable, such as a short circuit, wire change or lack of connection, then Atlas IT will clearly identify the error on the display, correctly showing which connections are in error.

If you are not sure how to connect a network cable then Atlas IT can be used as a reference. The IT atlas contains instructions on the display on how to build the desired cable.
