The SIGMA WR 86mm ceramic protective filter é a highly reliable filter with an impressive protection capability. With numerous aerospace applications and applications in other industries, ceramic glass is a a type of crystalline  extremely resistant glass. This advanced material offers better rigidity than chemically strengthened glass, offering greater flexibility than sapphire crystal glass. • Highly shock resistant: In conventional filters, only the surface is é  reinforced through a chemical process. In the case of this filter, the ceramic glass heat treatment, offering it a constant resistance. Ceramic glass é the ideal material for protective filters, being resistant to breakage.
• Scratch resistant: Ceramic glass offers a number of Vickers resistance of 700HV, a much higher resistance level than chemically reinforced glass. This filter has 10 times the strength of a conventional filter, and 3 times the strength of chemically fortified glass.
• Water-repellent coating: This coating only reflects  0.24% of visible light, minimizing "flare" and "ghosting". Its ability to repel both water and oil é excellent: the water simply does not cling to & agrave; surface, and the fingerprints are easily removed with a cloth.
